At a recent conference, Central Trade and Transfer (CTTauctions.com) passed out the attached card with recent prices for the secondary market. The system they use is very fair to both the buyer and seller as it uses an auction system similar to eBay. Apple Hospitality REIT pricing today to purchase from the web site ranges from $8.01 to $8.10.

Is anyone taking advantage of MacKenzie's offer of $7.25?

Does anyone know the current Central Trade and Transfer price on the secondary market?

On another topic, I saw that all redemption requests for Apple REIT 10 were honored in the second and third quarter of 2014. There doesn't seem to be the same urgemcy to get out of this REIT.

If those bottom feeders are offering $7.25 you have to know this stuff is worth a lot more! Last I heard Central Trade was going for around $8.00 and a few pennies. Hold on till it goes don't let the slugs make $$$ off your $$$$.

The current bid for Apple Hospitality Reit on CT&T is at $8.06. It did go for $8.24 on Dec. 29th.
When I first posted this topic I explained that I reluctantly sold a few shares @ $9.11 only because I needed the cash. However, if Apple Reit is going to implement a redemption program, I might go for it. If they sell or merge I cannot go six months without dividends while they play dot the i's and cross the t's like they did with Blackstone & 6. I'd like to reinvest my money where it will pay a monthly dividend, but I won't have to beg to get it back if I need it.

Agree with you Gary on the fact that these crooks will suspend dividends six months when this shit sells! Most people will have it difficult without six months of dividends unless they sell it for such a good price that you know you will get some nice $$$ on the back end! These fuckers have done nothing but jerk us around with this investment! Bottom line lets get this shit sold and worry about the six months of no dividends later!,

Remember - besides the 6 months of dividends being lost if and when it is sold, there most likely will be only partial distribution in cash just like with Apple REIT 6.

That is true, but I have friends who cashed out on 6 and they are as happy as pigs in shit, they got roughly 85% back in cash and the rest paying somewhere between 7-11% dividend which they get every three months! Sweet deal in my opinion!

Just a note that when you sell thru CTT, the estimate quote that I received from them states: the Undersigned hereby gives CTT the exclusive right to sell the REIT Shares for a “Minimum Price per REIT Share” of at least $ 8.00 which, if sold, would result in Minimum Net Proceeds to Owner of at least $ 7.55 a share.

Steve what is CTT? I am looking to get out of whole thing and would like to try and get as much as possible for my shares. I got locked into this being told 5 years max. Now here I am 5 years later with no end in site. Also, is it true that Apple 6 investors only got 75- 85% of their shares back in cash the rest reinvested for another undisclosed amount of time?

If there is a near end in site I would hold out but this waiting with knowing nothing is pretty abysmal.

Any input here would be appreciated:
Wait it out?
Take the tender offer?
Or go through other avenues to sell (if so what are they)
