APLE hits $20!!

Post by Joel091147 » Sat Nov 07, 2015 12:29 pm

Where's all the naysayers now!! They said it would never hit $20!!! The so called experts! Those of us who held and had a break even of $18 or lower are about to be rewarded!! Even those with a break even of $20.50 can get out Monday without too much loss!!

I guess that we should all kiss the feet of David Lerner and Glade Knight for the wonderful job they have done.

Lerners a SHYUSTERS and a liar and Knight is all for Knight and family and friends and no one else, Fuck the shareholders. By luck or whatever this stuff is over $20, the shareholders who held on deserve this and more. I totally understand why people got out quickly or tendered, some of us took a chance!

Does anyone still own Apple REIT stock?

The S&P 500 has double since 2012.

APLE is still struggling to stay at $19.

When questioning this with my DLA Investment adviser, he says that it is doing fabulous. Then showing
me - look how much money you have made with their great dividends.

Some things never change. That answer to you about the price and the deflection using the dividend is exactly what Dempsey and the managers preach to the brokers. ask him about the Spirit Energy fund. soaex. That must be one wild story....

Does anyone still own APLE?

Current Price 15.83

What does their David Lerner Investment Advisor say about this investment these days?

Stay with it or sell and reinvest in another one of their products?

Imagine Owning Apple Hospitality REIT (NYSE:APLE) And Wondering If The 23% Share Price Slide Is Justified
Simply Wall St
July 19.2019

Many investors define successful investing as beating the market average over the long term. But if you try your hand at stock picking, your risk returning less than the market. Unfortunately, that's been the case for longer term Apple Hospitality REIT, Inc. (NYSE:APLE) shareholders, since the share price is down 23% in the last three years, falling well short of the market return of around 46%.

During the unfortunate three years of share price decline, Apple Hospitality REIT actually saw its earnings per share (EPS) improve by 13% per year. Given the share price reaction, one might suspect that EPS is not a good guide to the business performance during the period (perhaps due to a one-off loss or gain). Alternatively, growth expectations may have been unreasonable in the past. It's worth taking a look at other metrics, because the EPS growth doesn't seem to match with the falling share price.

We note that the dividend seems healthy enough, so that probably doesn't explain the share price drop. We like that Apple Hospitality REIT has actually grown its revenue over the last three years. But it's not clear to us why the share price is down. It might be worth diving deeper into the fundamentals, lest an opportunity goes begging.

It's good to see that there was some significant insider buying in the last three months. That's a positive. That said, we think earnings and revenue growth trends are even more important factors to consider.
