Re: open letter to "REITWRECKS" Concerning ARCT

Obviously for anyone holding onto to ARCT, it seems like a good deal (I am one). I know it's easy to be a Monday morning QB and many older posts were not positive on ARCT, however it seems they are doing something right. Everything I read, ARCT's listing was very early and their holdings are stable ...

Re: open letter to "REITWRECKS" Concerning ARCT

TheHammer - I agree, a great forum to post opinions and I like seeing personnal attacks eliminated. As RealEstateGuy stated, I was a late investor to ARCT, a key factor for my broker. I believe this gives him the opportunity to see the REIT positions and do more research (or at least I hope). In thi...

Re: open letter to "REITWRECKS" Concerning ARCT

I believe the purpose of this site is exactly what is happening (without the finger pointing). I cherish and look forward to other people's comments, which most are more knowlwdgeable with REITs than myself. Start a new subject post and the more constructive comments, positive or negative is extreme...

Re: Newbie Question -- REIT Going Public (ARCT)

masterxbeam - Nice to read your post. My broker and I have done exactly what you are suggesting. This REIT has met my expectations / goals and it's time to bow out and find the next one. Thanks.

Re: Newbie Question -- REIT Going Public (ARCT)

I find this very strange and a win-win situation. The lowest tender is 10.50 and the public set the price at 10.49 (at least for now), what's stopping me from putting in a sell order at 11.50 until March 19?

Re: Newbie Question -- REIT Going Public (ARCT)

My adviser and I will be meeting this week. I wanted to get a third party look on this situation as I always try to educate myself before any meeting. I believe I now have a general understanding on how things will work. This is my first time seeing a REIT come to conclusion and these posts (and thi...

Re: Newbie Question -- REIT Going Public (ARCT)

WOW, thanks for the post. I've been lurcky here for many hours over the past day and was getting nervous with all the bashing of non-traded REITs. I've only been in this one since last May (10 months) and no matter what the market has been doing, the checks keep rolling in. Then when I realize thing...

Re: Newbie Question -- REIT Going Public (ARCT)

Thanks. If I understand your post correctly, they will offer me 10.50 / sh or take a gamble and let the public set the price and trade on NASDAQ, correct?

Newbie Question -- REIT Going Public (ARCT)

I have IRA funds with American Realty Capital Trust REIT and have been very happy with the dividend checks I get each month. I understand they are now looking to be listed on NASDAQ in a few weeks. How do I sell my shares? Does ARCT buy me out at a set price? Do I wait for the public to set the pric...
