Will Apple Sink all Non-Traded REITs

How do you invest in Real Estate?

With all of the stacks of evidence that non-traded REITs are not a good structure. Does anyone have a good suggestion as to a "better" way to get access to real estate without going the REIT equities? I would love some advise.
