Re: Anyone have any intel on the IW "IPO"

ddo2, I think an IPO is unlikely for now. IWST just revalued its shares by .10/share and published the new estimated share value: $6.95. The previous value was $6.85 (as of December 31, 2009), and at that time IWST said that since it was pursuing an IPO, it was not planning to publish an estimated a...

Re: The Peculiar Purchasing Proclivities of Mr. Knight

It's hysterical because the guy appears to have signed a confidentiality agreement over the whole thing, but the general recipe could hel...

Re: Apple Reits - Am I Just Lucky?

Wow, reading some of the comments on this board is pretty entertaining. I would say you were very, very lucky! Sold at how much more than you paid is the question, and how does this return compare to the money siphoned off by the parasitic REIT twins - David Lerner and Glade Knight - neither of whom...

Re: Need some input on some non-traded REITs

repinnj, I think the Ziegler REITs are private REITs - not non-traded REITs. If so, you need to do even more thorough homework on the sponsor. What is their experience, how long have they been in the business, what is their realized track record, is it net of fees, and how do they make their money -...
